Michael is a seasoned, consummate executive with over 10 years of experience in
commercial real estate, business development, strategy and entrepreneurship. He
is characterized by peers as an innovative and motivational leader with a vision
of changing the way the world does business.
For the last 8 years, Michael was part of the strategic development and growth of
two privately held commercial real estate firms, Randall Realty and Weidner Investment
Services. There, he worked with value-added commercial real estate investors and
played a crucial role in repositioning several multifamily developments into profitable
and valuable community additions in Seattle, Sacramento and Portland markets. Michael's
experience includes the direction of over 4,750 multifamily units ($670+ million),
and the deployment of several successfully endorsed company programs designed to
train, retain and develop the best talent the market has to offer.
Most recently, Michael's endeavors include building real world solutions that compliment
business, our environment and its inhabitants. He co-developed a patent-pending
automated valuation model (AVM) for commercial real estate, and is committed to
making "Green Building" and "Green Conscious" thinking our new standard moving forward,
investing his time and money towards these pursuits.
Michael also maintains involvement with the Real Estate Finance Investment Society,
holds a bachelors degree in public relations from Washington State University, and
carries a Washington State Real Estate license.
His other interests include playing with his two children, relaxing with a glass
of wine, advising new and emerging companies and playing chess.

Marty Rogers

Marty Rogers is a second generation auctioneer, his father started
their business in 1981. In his 25+ years of experience he has
conducted all types of auctions, selling heavy equipment, raising
money for charities and selling all types of real estate both
distressed and non-distressed through a competitive bidding,
dynamic pricing system. He was a founding partner of a major
national auction group with offices in 20 states conducting as many
as 1500 real estate auctions annually and served as a member of their executive board.
Marty graduated from the University of Wyoming with bachelors degrees in Animal
Science (preVet) and secondary education and has additional masters level course
work from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Marty worked as a certified general real property appraiser for five years and was
licensed in two states. He is a licensed real estate broker in several states conducting
real estate auctions throughout the US. Additionally, he has conducted auctions in
Canada as well as the United Kingdom. He has sold over 10,000 acres of land through
competitive bidding formats and sold almost every class of asset at auction. He is one
of 321 auctioneers to hold an AARE (Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate) from the
National Auctioneers Association. And he is a graduate of the prestigious Certified
Auctioneers Institute. The CAI program consists of three, 40 hour, week long courses
offered annually through the University of Indiana - Bloomington. He was elected to his
state auctioneers association and served on its legislative and bid calling committees.
Marty has competed in several auctioneering championships throughout his career. He
was named first runner up International Bid Calling Champion, twice and was World
Champion Auctioneer in Toronto, Canada. He was also an instructor at World Wide College of
Auctioneering where he taught bid calling and their real estate auction course work.
He is a licensed coach and private pilot. He has been married to Judy Rogers for 28
years and they have 4 grown boys.

John brings 20 years of technology experience as software engineer, application and system architect,
systems administrator, and technology leader to the Sage Team. His experience has directly led to the success
of companies in fields as diverse as Executive Business Intelligence and Datamining, Virtual Reality,
and Surgcal Training, and companies as diverse as Google, Apple Computer, NeXT Computer, Amazon.com
and AT&T Wireless.
John holds degrees in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics from M.I.T. and CalTech. He joined
SageListings in June 2008 and is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's
internal property evaluation software, helping to assess commercial property values and suggested
buy and sell prices. As Chief Technologist for SageListings, John's ability to see the big picture
not simply as a technology exercise, but also in terms of its larger business context, provides
the critical depth necessary for the successful scaling of the business.
In John's free time, he enjoys hiking, scuba diving, photography both above and below the surface,
and spending time with his family.
