Fact: Commercial buildings are the largest cause of all CO2 emissions (38%)
and our climate crises.
This economy is built on and powered almost entirely by oil, natural gas, and coal. These are all fast-diminishing nonrenewable resources. As supplies disappear, the price of energy climbs and nearly everything becomes more expensive. With costs and unemployment soaring, our economy stalls. And if it wasn't enough, greenhouse gases are created and overheat our atmosphere when we occupy our buildings and burn our fuel. We are amidst an economic and climate crisis. Our bottom line: we cannot continue with business as usual.
